Introducing: The Rock Band Club!

As the poster says, the rock band club is a new group project I will be running for my students! The purpose of this project is to give my students as strong a start as possible in the live music world. I will be helping them form bands with one another, coaching them through putting a set of songs together, developing their song writing skills, guiding them through all little details that help a band sound as tight as possible!

Alongside this, I will be helping them gain several vital band experiences such as getting their first gig, recording in a studio, getting a pro photo shoot taken. This is so, by the end of the project, they have everything they need to take the band in what ever direction they like! Basically, the end goal is for me to say "and with that, the band is yours, be free!".

I have been working hard behind the scenes getting things all set up for this project and I am very happy to finally be starting it up on Sunday the 16th of April! I have spent this time planning out the steps needed and making plans with my friends in the industry to give my students highest quality assets to take forward with them in their careers!

I currently have two student bands ready and raring to go and a few students keen to get involved so their will hopefully be more student bands to come!

I will be keeping you all up to date with the project as to goes forward!

Also, for this who were regularly reading my blog, I have made song changes. I felt it was more fitting to make the blog more focused on the goings on surrounding Dani Heggie Music Lessons and the work being done with my students rather than the more pop culture focused posts featured previously. So instead of weekly, the blogs will be posted as and when there is something new and exciting to be discussed! If you enjoyed the previous style of blogs, let me know, I can always bring them back here and there!
